The ACRC is a non-profit organization that safely collects and recycles plastic crop protection product, or pesticide containers. Thousands of farmers and applicators nationwide participate in it’s free recycling programs.

EcoRoadmap

The EcoRoadmap, a concept created by CropLife America (CLA) with the participation of its allies in agriculture, is a design for better communication and information sharing between government agencies, industry and other involved parties in the development of ecological and environmental policy and regulation.

CLA developed the EcoRoadmap to support modern agriculture with the goal of having regulatory agencies implement a fair and credible risk assessment process that utilizes sound science and reliable data to affirm pesticide products can be used safely in the environment and comply with applicable environmental laws.

Cooperation and coordination among regulatory agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the “Services,” U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (F&W) and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), is vital to achieving the EcoRoadmap goal. The EcoRoadmap Plan is a strategic plan for comprehensively addressing environmental issues with EPA and the Services. The EcoRoadmap is an iterative, dynamic process that will change and adjust as issues evolve.

To successfully address the scope of these issues and their impact, it is critical that CLA work in partnership with agriculture and non-ag allies, the business community, state officials and lawmakers around the country.
